Eido Release v26.1

Eido 2.0, rebuilt for very large Intune estates, with faster syncs, reworked dashboard sharing, dashboards that refresh themselves and Policy Management on the new platform.

Released: 5 January 2026 (version 2.0), with updates through February 2026

Eido 2.0 is the same product on new foundations. Most of the work is underneath: it is what lets Eido keep up with tenants of hundreds of thousands of devices, and it is what QueryHub was built on two months later.

Built for larger estates#

  • Faster syncs. The sync was reworked to read and process a large tenant in parallel, and to do far less work for devices that have not changed.
  • Faster screens. Lists and dashboards load more quickly on a large tenant.
  • A sync you start yourself takes over. Forcing a sync now stops the one that is running and starts again, so you are never waiting behind it.

See What Eido syncs.

Discovered apps#

  • Discovered apps are synced more efficiently, and the devices an app is installed on are loaded when you open it.

See Apps.

Dashboards#

  • Sharing has been reworked, with clearer rules for who can see and who can change a dashboard.
  • Dashboards refresh themselves, so one left open on a screen stays current.

See Dashboards.

Policy Management#

  • Policy Management moved to the new platform, with improvements to policy backups in the weeks that followed.

See Policy backups and templates.

Also in this release#

  • Every list shows how many items it holds, next to its page controls.
  • An export tells you when it is ready.
  • OS Health opens sorted with the devices that need attention first.
  • Patch status labels are clearer, and several cases where the status and the figures behind it disagreed have been corrected.
  • A device whose operating system Eido cannot place shows an Unknown support status, in place of a wrong one.
  • The values offered in a filter are listed in alphabetical order.
  • Long tenant names fit on Trends.
  • Fixes to certificate alerts, to roles and to App Metering licence figures.
