Eido Release v26.7

Driver update failure reports, filters for dates that lie ahead, pick-from-a-list filters, Apple enrolment profiles and a colour-accessible mode.

Released: 10 to 22 July 2026 (version 2.5)

A smaller release, with new driver reporting, better filters in Query Hub and a mode for people who do not see red, amber and green apart.

Driver update failures#

A new Query Hub view, Driver Update Failures, lists each device where a Windows driver update failed, with the driver, the profile and the error. A failure that clears is kept as resolved, so you can see what went wrong last month as well as what is wrong today.

See Driver Update Failures and Windows Drivers.

Filters in Query Hub#

  • Dates that lie ahead. In the Next and More Than From Now filter on dates in the future, such as a warranty or a certificate that expires in the next 30 days.
  • Pick from a list. A column with a fixed set of values, such as a status, offers those values to choose from, so there is nothing to type or misspell.

See Filters, grouping and charts.

Colour-accessible mode#

Eido relies heavily on red, amber and green. Colour-accessible mode replaces them with a palette, shapes and labels that stay readable with any kind of colour vision, in both the light and the dark theme. Each person switches it on for themselves.

See Your settings.

Also in this release#

  • Publisher is a column on the detail of a discovered app.
  • Apple enrolment profiles are synced, so a device shows the profile it was enrolled with.
  • Fixes to major OS rules, policy settings and a number of reports.
